Local Musicians Prove You Don't Have to Eat Animals to Create Dynamic and Exciting Music

The New York Times recently put out a stunning exposé of a particularly disgusting and deadly ingredient in the American food supply, ammoniated beef trimmings (or 'pink slime', as described by one USDA official). Yet, in the midst of this toxic shock, there are socially-conscious musicians who are choosing to leave animals off their plates. We'll talk to and hear live, on-air performances from two of them, CHASE HAMBLIN (http://www.chasehamblin.com) and BAREFOOT THE INDIAN, both based right here in Houston, TX.

Tonight's program hosted by Ivan Espinosa and Anuj Shah.
