Guest guest
Yes Heather, For some reason Indian Food really resonates with me. It's so perfect. I love Garbanzo, Lentil, Eggplant, & Curry soo much. I alway's ask for extra Tofu. Many Restaurants can make whole wheat Naan (sp?). Staying 100% on the Food program is soo important. With my work I travel frequently. I'm alway's checking out Indian Restaurants in many towns. I also feel right at home and very welcome in many Indian Restaurants. This past summer purchased about 15 Indian Spices from a Local Indian Food Store. My DW does not like the smell of the cooking, but I'm in heaven. The protein, the flavor, I just feel so good after a meal. Yumm, Bob , " Butler, Heather " <hbutler wrote: > > Well I've had good luck with Indian cookbooks. Guest guest
Bob, I feel the same way about Indian food. For some reason it resonates with me on a really deep level, and they have such a rich vegetarian tradition. The first time I had Indian (vegetarian) food I felt like I had come home. I LOVE to cook it and just wish I had more time to do it myself :-) How great that you've come up with Indian restaurants as an option for when you're traveling! Guest guest
Bob, how clever to ask for extra tofu! I've found some restaurant can be very accomodating if you ask. Very smart to check for Indian places when you travel! It is so easy to stay on program with them. Guest guest
Funny you should mention Indian food - I had curry for lunch today. I like to make enough for 2-3 meals and then freeze the rest, so I have at least 2 already cooked meals for days when I don't feel like cooking or don't have time to cook. Oh, and I usually have it with quinoa instead of rice, for extra protein. Mika
