Guest guest
Hi everyone! I've been lurking quietly for a week or two, but after the disgusting, nasty, vile breakfast I just had, I find myself needing to ask you a question. What protein powder do you use? I hate the taste of whey, I need to limit or omit soy, and the soy-free vegetable protein I just had literally came *this close* to coming back up. It was SO gross. There has to be a way to get protein, right? If only I could eat all the soy I want! I was hoping to go vegan some day, but just doing this program vegetarian is hard enough--I think vegan would be impossible. True? Is anyone on this program vegan? If so, I'd be so grateful to hear your tips! Thanks, Diane
Guest guest
Diane, I use Trader Joes Protein Powder. At first it tasted like chalk. Kind of like it now. You may want to try the Georges Shake & see how you like them. I've been doing the program 4-5 years now as a vegetarian. Tried going Vegan last December (for a month), it was too hard for me. I don't care for soy milk. What the process re-confirmed (for me) it's more important to consume Fish and Dairy products and be Rock Solid on the Food Program/Protein, then being a Vegan @ this time in my life. I'm also proud to be Vegan some day's (part time) or some meals and that's ok too..... Bob , " beaglebaileysmom " <beaglebaileysmom wrote: > > Hi everyone!
