Guest guest
This was my first day but I usually eat eggs for breakfast and have been egg, cheese, fish vegan for several years, pretty healthy fare. My problem is pushing with caffeine and sugar. So when I picked up this book yesterday at the library, I said, this looks like something good for me. I have read more today. I'm used to eating mostly healthy so will be able to move quickly through the steps. It's just a matter of cutting out sugar for me. I am boiling a potato as we speak. Had 7 oz of cottage cheese for dinner and a second cup of coffee with just milk which is the way I always take my coffee. I am looking to see if Dr. DesMaisons discourages coffee. Do you know? It's for sure I need support. Thanks...Janice
Guest guest
HI Janice! Welcome. Nice to have you here. Actually the program is way more than adding in a potato and taking out the sugar <smile> I am thinking it might really help you to get a copy of the CD called *What Else is Embedded in the Steps.* This will give you the context of why I recommend a beginner's mind and starting at step one. it has 4 parts: 1) Breakfast within an hour of rising 2) Enough protein for your body weight ( your weight in pounds divided by 2 for the total grams of protein per day and 1/3 of that for breakfast 3) A complex carb 4) Every day. See if you can connect to the process as well as thecontent.
