Guest guest
Today I got the right amount of protein in and can see I will be relying heavily on canned tuna and salmon. I had tuna salad at lunch and salmon patties for dinner tonight. I see some of you are way across the country. As much better as I feel in just four days, this is my fifth, I can see myself starting to feel like traveling again tho not to Pike's Peak but perhaps the mountains in the Carolinas. It's definitely good to have goals and I can see where you need to replace the sweet rewards with other types of rewards on this program. I have gotten to three protein meals a day and eliminating the sugar because I was basically dieting before but with sugar treats. I can see myself feeling so much better after 4 days without sugar or refined carbs, perhaps that coffee won't be so difficult to wean off of eventually. But my daughter is having to go much slower than I. Janice
Guest guest
Janice, Several people try to do all the steps at once. I've read that many of the same people have had to do the steps again. There is no right answer. This food program results in healing. The healing takes place over time. It took me apx. 6-7 months to go from step #1 - step #6. Kathleen's advise to you & wisdom is Rock Solid. I'd follow it to the smallest detail, in fact I did and remain very thankful for it..... Bob Kathleens Recommendation was: I am thinking it might really help you to get a copy of the CD called *What Else is Embedded in the Steps.* This will give you the context of why I recommend a beginner's mind and starting at step one. it has 4 parts: 1) Breakfast within an hour of rising 2) Enough protein for your body weight ( your weight in pounds divided by 2 for the total grams of protein per day and 1/3 of that for breakfast 3) A complex carb 4) Every day. See if you can connect to the process as well as thecontent. , " Janice " <escapeartist88 wrote: > > Today I got the right amount of protein in and can see I will be > relying heavily on canned tuna and salmon.
