Heather,

I have calculated the grams of protein that I need and it is a lot of

them! (143 grams) I messed up this morning and ate cereal. I do

better when my Mom makes breakfast! We are just about out of sugar,

but I don't think I am ready to give it up yet. Mostly, I drink it in

my coffee-a heaping tablespoon. And I have about three cups of coffee

a day, sometimes more. See how much I need your help?!

Hi Michelle, I believe the formula does

have a “cap” at the top, so if you are over 250 pounds, you can

stop adding more grams for body weight. So that would mean you’d need

125 per day, or about 40 per meal. Let me check on that information to make

sure I’m telling you the right thing J.

 

You don’t have to sweat the sugar

yet, it’s something we worry abuot after we are steady! I promise when

you’ve taken time to heal and are later in the steps giving up sugar won’t

spook you a bit :)

Ok, the official word, the “cap”

per meal is 42 grams. :)
