Guest guest
The oatmeal makes sense for making a shake stick with you longer. They used to add oatmeal to baby's nighttime bottle when they got old enough to keep them sleeping longer through the night (they hoped!) I had a bad day starting out yesterday with a shake with rice milk, soy protein and some mixed frozen fruit. Today, I am going to get some oatmeal at the store for my next shake. Eggs just stick with me longer or is it that I am allergic to them and need them every morning? Eggs really help when you don't like meat for whatever reason. I saw Jack LaLanne speak here in Orlando last year and he said " Can you believe some people actually eat dead flesh " and he shuddered. He is 80 now and still in great shape, vegan at this point in his life. Not everyone can handle mango. It comes from the poison oak family or something and some few of us swell up like a balloon, eyes can hardly open, run a fever and have to to the emergency room. That happened to me when I was 19 eons ago and I had a first date pending with a tall handsome Italian who could dance so well. I was going to call it off petrified but ran into him on my way back from the shots (cortisone?) and he actually flagged down the car! You know how you are at that age. I just wanted a hole to swallow me up! Janice
Guest guest
Hi Janet, see below! The oatmeal makes sense for making a shake stick with you longer. They used to add oatmeal to baby's nighttime bottle when they got old enough to keep them sleeping longer through the night (they hoped!) --well isn’t that interesting! I had a bad day starting out yesterday with a shake with rice milk, soy protein and some mixed frozen fruit. Today, I am going to get some oatmeal at the store for my next shake. --let us know how you like it. Eggs just stick with me longer or is it that I am allergic to them and need them every morning? Eggs really help when you don't like meat for whatever reason. --It’s hard to figure out allergies so early in the program. Right now, if you like them and if they work, go for it!. --It’s amazing what people have allergies too! I had no idea mango could cause such reactions. Definitely good for you to stay away from them LOL Heather
