Guest guest
Sounds great, Heather, though it a world away from me here in Florida. What do you do there? It is always so nice to be with people who are into what you are into. I would love it, I'm sure. Last night we had a farewell party for two friends who are moving to Lake Chappala, Mexico. The weather there. l0,000 feet high, is in the 70s year round and they say it is half the living expense of here. The way the afternoon went, I wound up saving dinner for the party and wound up eating quite a bit of vegan no no white chicken to keep up the protein with collard greens and a couple of deviled eggs. I went for a small slice of French Bread with butter. It was white but was the only carb choice I could make. I looked at the Ice Cream Cake iced " Vaya Con Dios " and was not tempted. However passing up a sweet potatoe cassarole hurt. I have to pick up some sweet potatoes and try baking them. Can you bake sweet potatoes? Guest guest
Well words are hard to come by to explain Ranch. It's such an amazing experience to be among a group of other people doing the program. In a nut shell we have sessions where kathleen talks. This year the focus was the introduction of dopamine as a neurotransmitter that is affected by our sugar sensitivity (and vice versa). We also have lots of time to play. So we'd go off in small groups to do bead shopping, or walk around Old Town, or walk down to the Nature Center, etc. One night we just had a big party in the main room, and people played music, sang, danced, played board games, made jewelry, knitted, or just watched and enjoyed. It was so much fun. And yes, you can bake sweet potatos, they are really tasty!
