Guest guest
Traveled from LA to Cleveland today. Just finished diner and thought I'd post today's food. Breakfast @ Airport: Tomato & Spinach Omlette with Swiss Cheese, two slices of whole wheat toast, multi vit, 3/4 ltr water. Lunch on Plane: 1.5 handfulls of Trader Joes Dry Roasted Soy Nuts, Small bag of triscuits Dinner in Sheraton Hotel: 1/2 handfull of peanuts. Bowl of Lentil/Blackbean Soup (water based). Salad with tomato, cucumber, and 3 very small rings of Red Onions. I'm so happy that the hotel had a veggy option as well as a baked potato for later. The hotel had a workout room with one of the machines missing, so unrolled my yoga mat and did the 1st series of my Astanga Practice. Then went for a 1/2 hour swim & soaked in the Jacuzzi for another 1/2 hour. I feel so Zen and ready to go to sleep. Good Night All.... Guest guest
Hi Bob, sounds like your travel day went pretty well. I find travel so chaotic. I'm curious though: did your dinner have sufficient protein/browns for you? Was the lentil soup a protein or a brown? I'm just looking at that and thinking how it wouldn't hold me at all, especially if I followed up with exercise... I wanted to mention that Trader Joe's makes a triscuit-type cracker that's whole grain and sugar free. I can't remember the exact name of them, but I took them with me on my last trip along with a jar of peanut butter. I just thought I'd share since you have some other Trader Joe's items with you. :-) Bright blessings, Sharon --- Bob <yogabob7 wrote: > Traveled from LA to Cleveland today.
