I checked my pantry and then for fun went to all my favorite grocers

to read labels. This is as best as I could get. A few discrepancies

between Heathers list and what I found were for natural peanut

butter, I found it at 10g per 2 tbsp. also frozen edamame values

vary with company, eg 8-12.. Also, I found dried pulses seemed to

have higher values than canned (cooked) of the same kinds. And

canned beans varied between companies. Here is a list of some of my

favorites and interesting things I found. (Thanks for the grams to

ounce conversion guys!)

 

P.S. I will post two of my favorite recipes in the files if I can

figure out how: Lemon Grill Tempeh & Crispy Sesame Tofu. ~Tina

1.0 g Tofutti `Better than Sour Crème' - 2 Tbsp (small amt sugar)

Well this is just wonderful, thank

you!!!  I’m going to add most of them (basically everything but the

milks, since those aren’t dense enough proteins).  As soon as they are in

the list, I’ll add it here to the files section so we can access the list

whenever we need to.
