With the holidays just around the corner Silk Nog should be showing up

on our grocer shelves soon. Oh, man, love that stuff!

 

Anne, if you'd like to try it, look in Hy-Vee...or ask the dairy

manager. The Hy-Vee here in Carroll carried it last year, I think they

began stocking it right around Thanksgiving.

I added them in so people could see the different types & brands of

unsweetened available, and compare; and we, as vegetarians, get to

count all of our proteins, not that we shouldn't be trying to go for

denser things mind, you. :)

Well I would say you *can* use the milks as proteins, but healing

will be greater with dense proteins :). So vegetarians *should* go for other sources. And I really

appreciate your thoroughness in getting all the protein amounts possible!
