Guest guest
Hi Guy's, Feels so good to be back home and not working today. Had a good trip. Kind of funny, the company which I was working for on this trip has a daily meal allowance of $60.00 per day. My average per day was $10-$12, yet another advantage of being a RR Veggy. After all how expensive can a bowl of lentils or bag of nuts get??? What I missed was my own pillow, driving my car, my bed, my family, and a place to re- charge all of my electrical things @ one time. After traveling, feel the need for " more browns " , guess it's to balance out the " jet lag " . Jet lag usually takes me 3 days to get over, the 3 hour time diff. No more travel plans until August = Great... Hope everyone is doing well. Bob
Guest guest
Hi Bob, I'm from Columbus. Not sure where you ate when you were here, but a few to keep in mind for next time (all pretty close to Y-o-H): Benevolence (veg restaurant) Best tofu I've had, ever. And I'm vegan. Whole World (veg restaurant) Dragonfly Neo-v (5 star vegan restaurant; rave reviews, but pricey) Clintonville Community Market (co-op market & fresh made food) Northstar (famous for a large beet-based veggie burger) Wild Oats We also have a vegan bakery in town, lol, but that's not Radiant. Never been to Yoga-on-High, its on my wish list of places to go when I can finally afford to. Tina
Guest guest
Hi Bob, welcome back! I bet the food allowance was as lessened by the fact there’s no sugary junk food anymore, either . Guest guest
Tina, I went to Wild Oats and will keep the other places in mind for good sources of food. Went to Wendy's everynight for my spud (think the Wendy's Headquarters is in Columbus). I stayed at a lovely B & B called 50 Lincoln Inn, really cool. I really like Columbus. If you are able try going to Martha's class, she is one of the most talented teachers in the US. The YOH studio is truly a goldmine and your lucky to be close by. Enjoyed the lovely weather there, this time of year. Bob , " shadowedorchid " <shadowedorchid wrote: > > Hi Bob, > I'm from Columbus.
