Guest guest
" So i am wondering if anyone out there has suggestion for me on getting enough protein? " From what I understand, (and I am not a doctor but have heard from vegan doctors) If you are eating tempeh and legumes and whole grains and veggies and fruits and nuts everyday then you should definitely be getting enough protein. You don't need an additional protein shake. That would probably be too much protein even for someone who has a very physical job and works out a lot. Don't buy into the protein myth. Just make sure you eat enough calories for what type of physical activities you are participating in. Good luck. Warren
Guest guest
Hi all, Trying to embark on new life as a veggie and just wanted some advice from you experienced vegetarians. I need 38g of Protein at each meal. Breakfast seems easy so far but would really appreciate some advice/ideas on how to come up with this amount of protein from non-meat and non-dairy sources. For breakfast I can have eggs, oatmeal with soya milk/protein powder added etc but other meals are difficult especially now I have read about the dangers of too much soya. It isn't easy for vegetarians on this plan but am hoping for much valued and needed advice from all of you. Please help! Thanks for your time, Irenie, Essex, UK
