Guest guest
Hello Everyone - Yesterday I slow cooked some wonderful pinto beans and had some with instant brown rice for dinner along with some minced onion and green pepper and shredded cheese. It was delish. I'm wondering tho - does 'instant' lose any nutrients? Is it better to use regular brown rice? Thanks. Sue Ann
Guest guest
Hi Sue Ann, Welcome to the group, nice to have you here. My expierience with instant rice is that it's ok. When I eat regular brown rice I feel a little more sustained. For some unknown reason when I eat mixed brown rice (multiple blends) including wild rice, feel completely sustained. Long Grain Brown Basmati Rice is really good too. Black rice is really yummy too. I always enjoy trying new forms of rice from different parts of the world, now how fun is that. Prior to the program found white rice to be kind of boring. Brown Rice is so much fun fun now.
