Guest guest
This past weekend we celebrated the passing of my father. He died in March. We decided to have a huge celebration for a whole weekend in the warm months when travel was easier. Anyway, the menu chosen by my siblings and mother were totally not my program friendly and I have a sister who eats vegan diet. And a sister-in-law who eats very healthy. So I made my special go anywhere soup for our meal. Anyway when I saw my sister I told her I had made us a special soup. She informed me she had already eaten (which was great as I would probably have done the same thing as they had traveled that day. Anyway, a while later she told my DH that she wouldn’t have eaten it anyway as there was no food value in the potatoes, etc. we choose to eat. Everyone has to follow and provide for their own plan in my opinion. The rest of us enjoyed my nutritionless soup. Beverlee
Guest guest
Beverlee, Good for you bringing your " special soup " , I would have tried it (smile). People can get strange in stressful situations sometimes, this was not the time or place for other family members to be *critical*, not what the event was about. Thank you so much for sharing & you keep " trying " , were all here to help. Bob , " Beverlee " <jamochas wrote: > > This past weekend we celebrated the passing of my father.
