Guest guest Posted October 8, 2006 Report Share Posted October 8, 2006 hi deanna i was eating a lot of raw food last year while trying to do this program. apart from nuts & seeds, i think protein for raw food vegans is pretty much sprouts! i still do a lot of sprouting, as i find sprouted beans much easier to digest than cooked ones. my favourites are lentils, chickpeas & mung beans. another thing i find great about them is they're an easy way to add protein to a meal - so if my flatmates cook just rice & veges, i get the sprouts out of the fridge and add them.
