Guest guest
Good Afternoon, Kind of funny my Grandmother's last name was Brown...... One of my favorite foods are " Browns " they are so key to doing the food right. I've noticed along my RR Journey that when I'm under stressful situations or problems that I need more browns. On Tuesday of this week, had a meeting scheduled (30 mn) with a prospective client (low stress). His assistant came down at the meeting time and handed me a stack of papers to complete prior to the meeting. She also let me know that my schedule was being changed (without notice to me) from 30 min with one person to 2.5-3 hours with 2 people (medium stress). So I went to my car got my back up bag of shredded wheat and my laptop (holding all the information necessary to complete the forms). During the meeting they told me to put away all of my pre-done information and walk them through the process without going back to any of the documents & I would be doing the majority of the talking (High Stress Now). The meeting went very well thanks to the RR Program, thinking ahead taking my laptop, and the browns for not letting any situation (High or Low Stess) get to me.... Whenever I start to feel a little lonely or just a touch sad for no real reason, I think " need more browns " . 99 times out of 100 just a little more brown food and I'm back to feeling better almost right away. Once again the wisdom of this program keeps on shining through. Some of my favorite browns are: Brown Rice Oatmeal Triscuits (have to watch this one a little, chedder ones have sugar) Mary's Gone Crackers (Black Pepper is soooo good), available at WFM. Whole Wheat Pasta Ezekiel's Bread Kidney & Garbanzo Beans All The Best, Bob
