Guest guest
Recently lot's of people have been asking about how to cook beans. When I want a speedy meal, reach for a can of Westbrae Natural - Organic Salad Beans. I open a can add a little olive oil, pinch of Cayanne Pepper, that's a great start to a good meal. They are only available at Whole Foods Markets. Bob
Guest guest
Hi, The fastest way to cook beans is in a pressure cooker. Soak the beans overnight, and cook under pressure for 10 -15 minutes. I have recently sprouted black and pinto beans. It reduces the gas that beans can cause, and they cook faster. You can cook them in a regular pot for about 1/2 hr depending on how soft you like them. I just wanted to share that there are email groups for all steps in the program. It is nice to correspond with people working on the exact step/s your are, for example, reducing or eliminating sugars, the potato, or the protein aspect. Someone from the Northern California group informed me of this and it is helpful. Blessings, Deanna

Guest guest
I have found that I can cook black beans in a pressure cooker without soaking overnight. Works great!
