Guest guest
When I was hooked on sugar, would isolate and choose to not engage otherwise known as being alone. After walking the University of Michigan Campus last week was reflecting on how alone I was during the holiday's while in Collage. I remember that I was walking the streets of my university alone in the snow & could not understand why that was ok (it's not). It was due to sugar holding or keeping me back.... The best way to win this battle is to pick up the phone and make plans now and not to be alone, during the holiday's. It's good to get out and connect with people. Next week will be catching up with a college buddy of mine in Florida. Were going to have lunch together and catch up. Smile, Bob
Guest guest
Well said, Bob! I'll still be eating sugar for Christmas, but the program has changed me so much I really look forward to a Christmas where I won't isolate or feel anxious about everything. I've already made a list of the foods we'll have for Christmas dinner, and there will be browns and veggies as well as the usual stuff. I can't wait!
