I'm 38 and I've been a vegetarian for 15 years. I went vegan for a couple of years (way back) but found it so difficult to eat anywhere but home. I've been doing the program for about 5 or 6 months. The food is usually the easy part for me, I've been trying to avoid all the foods that make me feel bad for years. The journaling is what is difficult! Well, I don't want to bore you. I'm lurking a lot on this list too, mainly because I'm not a vegetarian and everybody else seems to know so much more than me. I eat 3 meals a day with enough protien and mostly stay away from sweeteners/sugar/fast carbs because I'm miserable if I don't. I just messed myself up on Saturday so I still feel bad from that. We had company and I had 1/2 glass of red wine, that's all it took. How are you doing? And what step are you on? I'm taking the step 4 class this week and hope to be able to move on to step 5 after the class. But I'll wait with detox until after Christmas... It's amazing that small things like a glass of wine can make such a difference, I notice that more the further I get. Good luck!
