Guest guest
I do two things to help with the gas...I throw away the water they soaked in but probably even more significant I learned to cut off a 3 or 4 inch section of kombu and add it to beans. Kombu is a seaweed that was very popular in macrobiotic cooking and is available in either health food stores or probably more realistically grocery stores that have a VERY BIG health food section (Market of Choice, Shop N Kart are two of my local stores like this.) Guest guest
Bob, Delse is a seawood, but I don't think it is the same as kombu. I know kombu has the properties of making beans more digestible. Warmly, Jan
