Guest guest
Hi, all, I have another question for you. I used to try and figure these things out by myself, but I've found it's better to ask those who know the answer. I made a black bean salad today. For every 2 c. of black beans (which is how much protein I need) there is a stalk of celery and 1/2 c corn. (There are other ingredients, too). Can I count that stalk of celery as my green for the meal? Do I count the corn as a brown? If I ate some brown rice with that, would I be overdoing the browns? Thank you very much. -Lynn
Guest guest
Lynn, A quick rule which works is eating protein in the amount apx the size of your fist. I consider corn to be mostly a white. I would eat the brown rice as my " brown " . I think your catching on. Please keep chiming in. Smiles, Bob , Lynn Kahl <newsong02000 wrote: > > Hi, all, > > I have another question for you.
