Oh, and which credit cards they take! Some restaurants do not accept AmEx; other

teeny cafes take only cash - it's good to be prepared!

The only trick is that we're limited to 10 " fields, " so if we want to add

something, we have to take something away.

We can change " sit down or take out " to " ambiance. " I think we should add " zip

code " to the " street address " line since a zip code will help anyone searching

on mapquest.

So if you want credit cards and price range, which fields would you want to

remove?

I'm sorry, I know nothing about data bases, so why are we limited again? One

idea is that the address can contain cross street or highway exit (in the east

most of the good restaurants are NOT near highways!), so that wouldn't have to

be a separate item perhaps.

We're limited just because of how sets it up. We don't have a way to add

extra fields.

Okay, I made some revisions to the database I have going, if you want to check

it out. I got the price range there by moving the highway info to the street

address field, as Gail suggested.

I'm putting the highway info even when the restaurant isn't necessarily close to

the highway, just to help people orient themselves when travelling. There will

be restaurants in the San Diego list that are an hour from each other, and I

think knowing the highway and exit are a big help. It's different in smaller

areas, though.

Cheers,
