Guest guest
Hi All, Went to the same deli, where I go most Friday's. Ordered my same Swiss and Mushroom Omlette, with Cottage Cheese, & Whole Wheat Bagel. Started to eat while reading the paper. Took a couple of bites and thought this mushroom is chewey. Looked at my fork and realized they made me a Swiss and Ham Omlette. Told the manager that was gross & asked how this could happen? He explained there was a new chef.... The is a terrible thing and is the first time any meat has been in my body for many years. This is a BE downer. I'll be ok as it has mostly increased my awareness level. This is not the worst thing to ever happen on the planet, just don't want to do it again. Thanks for letting me vent.... Bob
Guest guest
Bob, I hear ya. I once inadvertently ate a meat spaghetti sauce (the beef was all ground up in the sauce, the restaurant was dark, and I was busy talking). I hadn't had meat for years, and I could feel it clawing it's way through my digestive system for days. Ugh. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Yuck, Yuck, Yuck, can see how easy it would have been to eat the spaghetti, so sorry you went through that. Yep I've been off my spiritual feeling game for the past couple of day's as a result. Feel like I've done something really, really, bad, need to let this feeling go. A former friend of mine was a diabetic and could not tolerate nuts. He made all of his food at home. At first thought " how limiting " , now reflecting back rather " how smart " . Thank you for your understanding, sure needed it. Bob , Sharon Wylie <swylie2002 wrote: > > Bob, I hear ya. Guest guest
sorry you had the experience Bob. havent had a similar experience myself foodwise - though I am reminded of wonderful experiences being tainted and you never feel quite the same about them again... so I hope you get to enjoy your mushroom omelette again really soon! Hope also that feeling goes soon as you never intentionally did a thing wrong - but you already know that! Have you found positive steady ways to encourage feeling good again? mosaic , " Bob " <yogabob7 wrote: > > Hi Sharon, > > Yuck, Yuck, Yuck, can see how easy it would have been to eat the spaghetti, so sorry you > went through that. Guest guest
Mosaic, *Have you found positive steady ways to encourage feeling good again?* Yes, have an all weekend long Yoga Teacher Training Session planned for next weekend. Got my car washed inside & out. Went to one of my fav Yoga Teachers class today. Doing my laundry now and cooking my food for the week, waiting for the Baseball Games to start. Feeling better.
