Thought I would share " a for sure winner " ...tried on many friends and family. Mock Salmon Pate from " Living on Live Food " by Alissa Cohen 2 Cups walnuts 2 stalks celery 1 large red bell pepper 1 large scallion 1/2-1 tsp. salt Combine ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. This is such a tasty and easy pate and it is foolproof! Eat it with anything...on lettuce leaf, with veggie sticks, crackers, etc. The section of protein grams that Kathleen provides is quite helpful. Two tablespoons of this recipe equals about 2-4 grams of protein. Not a whole lot on its own but helpful when mixed with whole grains, bean dishes, etc. Enjoy!
