** You are quite right about the yogurt - the runny things, though

they are including protein, are not really dense enough for us - they

dont hold us as well. ( although Total Greek yogurt is so protein

heavy I do count it as an addition to my main protein- your journal

will say if thats the case for you)Soy yog is a bit on the light side

**Great work on breakfast!!are you happy with all 4 parts?

Something you'll hear quite often, is, put your own oxygen mask on

first before getting everyone elses on! Its quite a wise saying I

feel. But tons of respect for the familys eating - they are lucky!

if you are feeding still you 'll need the extra snacks, dont forget

to call in on Parents is you need any support with that aspect.

Like you, I had a pretty " good " diet before finding RR and I still

needed every bit of the steps! I let myself get distracted by the

rest of it - meals, good evening meals, nutrition and what-have-you,

and I can see now that I needed to think - Breakfast! and so on.

oh and ask any questions you like! - dont worry about information

overload! I asked all the same questions too, and its always

reinforcing to think about it.

I hope you will love step 2 - its my favourite I think! Let us know.

Again, thanks.

I'm interested about the total greek yoghurt. I'll bear that in mind

for later on.

Yes breakfast with all four parts is wonderful, and a totally

essential part of my day. It has become easy so that I don't really

have to think about it, and have been steady with maybe one or two

slight blips (like when my husband made breakfast one morning and

forgot to add a bit of protein powder to boost the protein -I found

out an hour an a half later when I suddenly wasn't okay and asked all

the necessary questions! I've been more careful to make sure since

then! It was a totally horrible morning because of how I was feeling

from that, but a lesson well learned.)

I am thinking about the journalling for a few weeks instead of

launching into it. Noticing things I would write down, etc. I'll

order a journal or two this week, and can then begin step 2 once I've

had a good look through that and know where I am with it all.

I am on the parents list as well as a couple of others (all

beneficial for where I'm at) and I do remember my snacks most of the

time along with the children. When we don't, we notice the effect and

try to fix it instead. :) We're learning. That and proper meals on

time are important parts of our day as without them we fall apart.

We aren't working on those steps yet (I'm sure they'll need a lot of

fine-tuning when we do, and I'll be doing them ahead of the rest, and

they will as they are all ready), but it was totally right for us to

make the changes we already have. It was something we all really

WANTED to do, and NEEDED to do something immediate to get us out of a

really dire situation. Think of it as medicine maybe? Until we can

work through the steps fully, slowly and in order and allow our

bodies to heal, we are having the best natural medicine for us to

function in a possible way! We'll take that medicine until we don't

need to look at it like that anymore, but without it we are pretty

ill people, and me the worst of all as it starts off a whole chain

reaction of other big illnesses that were stopping me functioning or

thinking to any degree. So, a long-winded way of saying, it was

right, and I wouldn't change it - cerrtainly wouldn't go back. BUT I

totally see the need for the steps fully as laid out, and that's what

I'm baby-stepping my way through now, from where I'm already at.

Thanks so much for your concern and help. I will keep asking as

needed. Maybe I'll be one of the ones that can help more one day. :o)

Best wishes, Ceri
