hello Nancy

I havent used Georges, but from what I understand, Restore is plain

whey powder. Its handy if you want to use your own brown, or to add

protein to ordinary Georges without overdoing soy.

Georges shake is soy - based, has the oats added already as well as

the vitamins so yes, that accounts for the sums!

you could try asking in a seperate thread for shake ideas, bet you'd

get a few! so many variations - I have a soy shake made with chilled

decaf and cottage cheese in, which may be an acquired taste ( I like

it !)

what step are you working on Nancy? Breakfast??

How are you getting along?

Christmas and have always known I have a sweet tooth. When I stop

eating it I do pretty well but as soon as I start eating high sugar

foods again--I am off and running with the total sugar addiction

thing going on. I ordered George's shake and noticed when it came it

does not have all of the vitamins that they talk about on the site.

I went back to check it out and noticed I had ordered George's

restore. It has 15 grams of protein and 60 calories. The other has

19.5 grams of protein and 150 calories. Could some one please

explain the difference here in calorie content and how to use them?

What cause one to have so many more calories--is it the oats?

is probably best. Getting enough protein and a good solid carb at

breakfast is the bedrock of my day. when I started I just worked on

getting enough protein at first. Doing a shake is an easy way to get

plenty of it! Let us know what you figure out. Lately I have been

doing a shake using George's Restore protein powder (sold in the rr

store) with a spelt bagel each morning.

Hi Mosaic,

Thanks for responding to my post. Yes I am working on breakfast. I am also

trying to fix three healthy meals a day for me and my husband. Today we had 1/2

a turkey sausage, eggs over easy and toast. I got a vita mix for Christmas so I

am trying to make healthy shakes for us at night instead of eating junk food.
