Really good vegan meal

Hi All,

 

I just had the most delicious lunch and wanted to share it.

 

It's whole wheat noodles with enough wheat germ and

nutritional yeast to make up the right amount of protein

(the amounts are right on the containers). Add some margarine

or oil to bind it together and top it with cherry tomatoes or

avocado and/or mix it with green beans like I did. It's like

macaroni and cheese but even better, I think.

Oooo, I have some nutritional yeast I haven't used...I keep forgetting

about it. I love its flavor on pasta (and on popcorn, but I avoid

that these days).

 

I also enjoy nutritional yeast sprinkled on buttered or oiled toast or

veggies. Yum. Thanks for the recipe and the reminder, JoEllen!

Oh, what a great idea to put it on toast, Cinzia. Sometimes

when I'm looking for a few more grams of protein I just

use nut butter. What a yummy alternative.
