Guest guest
Hi Kathleen, Yes of course I am sugar sensitive and do best without it as well. I have now been doing step 3 for 3 weeks and I really am more calm and clear headed. I actually found one day that without dairy or wheat or anything that I usually succumb to to get calories that I with the nuts and veggies and lentils that I had about 81 gms of protein. I couldn't believe it. I didn't realize brown rice 1 cup has 3-5 grams of protein. Thanks by the way for your book it really is helping I just have to keep telling myself that it is not going to be too hard to give up sugar or to eat differently. In the past I have complained that it is too hard to change the way I eat but that is not true. Jane --- Kathleen DesMaisons <radiantkd wrote: > Hi Jane, > > are you sugar sensitive? Guest guest
hello Jane glad you find the book so supportive - is it Potatoes not Prozac that you have? the new edition is also a good addition as theres so much new stuff in there! are you counting the 'protein from rice' etc ? only the best advice I found was to count the dense protein grams, and leave the brown to count as brown - its easier, and then I get enough protein in. love to hear some more about your step 3. Are you having snacks? how is it all working for you? mosaic , Jane Dwight <janight wrote: > > Hi Kathleen, > Yes of course I am sugar sensitive and do best > without it as well.
