Guest guest
Caryn, My personal favorite is a protein shake. Have you experimented with shakes at all? Guest guest
I eat a mixture of muesli (with wholegrains) and puffed whole oats, with a 'power' milk made with protein powder. Guest guest
I usually have shake, protein powder and almond milk and then a brown like brown rice or oatmeal. My favoritest breakfast in the world is blackbeans, an egg, brown rice and green chili. I call it Huevos Guts, becuase it's sort of like the traditional Mexican Huevos Rancheros, but with rice instead of corn tortillas. Jess CO Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Hi Caryn, This morning I had some steel-cut oats cooked with coconut cream, cherry flavoring, and cubes of plain tofu (thrown in toward the end). Sounds a bit odd, maybe, but it works for me. I get very fresh local tofu, so it doesn't taste chalky. Some days I have oatmeal and a side of cottage cheese, once in a while with a hard-cooked egg. [i don't know if you eat dairy & eggs.] Sometimes I have a savory breakfast with tempeh, brown rice, and veggies. Shakes -- protein powder, flavors, oils/nut butters, & oats -- don't really hold me right now. I used to have a shake most mornings. Hope this gives you some ideas!
