Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm on step six and it's 16 days now into detox. I'm suffering from a burning muscle pain and a pain in the pelvis every morning. I was hoping this would go away after detox, but it doesn't. As I have the impression that the pain increased since I have a lot of animal protein I thought maybe some one here made a similar experience and maybe got better after changing to vegetarian proteins. Can anybody relate to this? I would be happy to get some suggestions. Regards Anja

Guest guest
Hi Anja, Congrats on starting your detox. The pain sounds worrisome. Have you seen a doctor about it? I haven't heard of anything like that happening before due to the food. The way I understand it, we have beta receptors in other places besides our brains, so they are all crying for the sweet stuff, so she reccomends a piece of fruit to ease your way through sugar detox. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Ellen
Guest guest
Anja, What you are describing is not likely related to your detox. This is something you need to speak to your doctor with. Can you please do that soon and let us know how it goes, thanks, kathleen , " smithellen46 " <gingersalinas wrote: > > , " anja_dora " <anja_dora@> > wrote: > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > I'm on step six and it's 16 days now into detox. > > I'm suffering from a burning muscle pain and a pain in the pelvis > > every morning. > > I was hoping this would go away after detox, but it doesn't. > > As I have the impression that the pain increased since I have a lot of > > animal protein I thought maybe some one here made a similar experience > > and maybe got better after changing to vegetarian proteins. > > > > Can anybody relate to this? Guest guest
Kathleen, thanks for advise. I've got an appointment the 4/30, couldn't get one any sooner. Sometimes I need to be sent because I always tell myself I have to bear it, I overreacte to symptoms. This is rather strange as I have these pains for months now. Maybe it's linked to Hashimoto, but the medication for that didn't make it better. Anja , " radiantkd " <radiantkd wrote: > > Anja, > > What you are describing is not likely related to your detox. Guest guest
Hi Tina, thanks for the congrats. Decided to see the doctor at last. Wanted to avoid that but I needed to hear that I don't overreact if I worry about this pain. Guest guest
Hi mosaic, see the doc tomorrow. Otherwise I'm rather thinking that I'm addicted to misery too. My negativity, depression and fear did not fade yet. But I keep going. Yesterday I watched " Dan in real life " as antidepressants, big laugh. The food is well, despite my doupting about animal or vegan proteins. And I know I'm on the right path. Having one thing, sugar, under control is already a big deal and I'm happy that no cravings haunt me. Regards Anja , " mosaic " <mosaic58 wrote: > > hi Anja > Sorry I dont have any experience myself. Guest guest
Hi Anja, It took a little more than a couple weeks for all of the other things (fear, depression, etc) to fade away for me. Step 6 is a good 6-month long process, and then step 7 is a whole other amazing process in and of itself. Be gentle with yourself and give it some time! Let us know what the doc says.
