Guest guest
Hi Guys, Im going to try out planning a snack between breakfast and lunch, and then perhaps lunch and dinner. Today i had Breakfast at 630am and just had a snack (10am). It was a TREK bar, wholefoods, no added sugar bar with 11gms of protein coming from soy and nuts.Im going to see how i feel but im hoping to have lunch now at 1230/ 1:00 and then dinner at 7pm...perhaps with a snack at 4pm. Im thinking that i might be able to use bars like these as snacks? wholefoods, high in protein , no added sugar bars...what do people think of this? Sorry...im not really good at this whole snacking thing lol In other news ;-) Yesterday i planted a rasberry bush (well the start of one anyway) and have started growing lettuce, corgettes , pumpkins and squash there is something eating my peas so im going to take extra good care of them now all i need is a protein plant hehehe yesterday was my fasting blood test.not having a breakfast changed my entire day...i wont be doing that again any time soon, everything was " woe is me " for the whole day...i was glad to get up this morning and have my omlette... hope everyone has a fab day Karen
Guest guest
Great idea to see how you feel with the trek bar. Journal always lets me know what suits. no wonder you like it I googled the ingredients and our fave dried fruit is in there lol, dates, raisins, strawberry and raspberry in some. so just see how your body is with your best snacks. Dont forget to have a look at step 3 list if you like because they are experts! My best snacks early on in step 3 were ryvita with cheese or peanut butter. Few nuts almonds usually, baby bel cheese. I also like hummus especially mashed with a boiled egg, which is a bit weird but tasty to me. also gets the brown/protein just right to suit me as well. be specially nice to yourself and good breakfasts etc after the fasting test, for a day or so! mosaic , " K " <arwenavery wrote: > > Hi Guys, > Im going to try out planning a snack between breakfast and lunch, and > then perhaps lunch and dinner. Guest guest
I felt quite good yesterday with that trek bar...i think a mini meal for me would be carb, protein and sugar so i was thinking that the dried fruit could be the sugar...its prob better for me to start thinking of things like vege-cheese or tofu and oatcakes...i have 4 eggs for breakfast at the moment, i could have 2 and some tofu, then i could have a boiled egg and ryvita as a snack...ill start thinking a bit more about this.I just had a flax bar as a snack and it only had 5gms of protein from seeds and its already noticeable that im not as steady as yesterday :)the experiment goes on On Thu, Apr 17, 2008 at 5:45 PM, mosaic <mosaic58 wrote: > Great idea to see how you feel with the trek bar.
