Guest guest Posted April 18, 2008 Report Share Posted April 18, 2008 Hi Guys Yesterday i had a trek bar as a planned snack, it has oats for a brown, 11gms of protein from soya and nuts and sugar from dried fruit...it held me well Today...i had a flax seed bar with carob on it...4 gms of protein...by lunch time i was angry , irritable and on the edge of tears. Im glad i know that this doesnt work for me...im still going to try a few other things like potatoes or oatcakes and tofu or vege bacon. I think i will pick up a few trek bars anyway and maybe make some bars myself in the future from a recipie i got in the recipies list I love my friends...two of the girls are aware of my sugar " thing " and have seen me get low before...so they just tell people to ignore me and leave me alone for a while...while i was getting my lunch in my friend picked me up a coffee and a bar to have after :) I apologised to everyone but they told me i didnt have to apologise for how my body works which is very very cool Karen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
