Guest guest
Karen, have you read the article in resources, " soy story " http://www.radiantrecovery.com/resourcecenter/soystory.htm I used to be very anti-soy, like you say, reading on the internet/ media, then when I got here and read this article it seemed to offer a balance to me. I do choose one serving of soy a day, I'm 49 and I believe that it does me good. So have a read and see what you think. its a dilemma for vegetarians I believe because a lot of the 'convenience foods' available are soy based. But we are lucky because the steps teach us problem solving, planning, variety. So I dont think that there is that reliance, especially in later steps, that I see in my non ss vegetarian friends. what do you think? , " Karen Mc Donnell " <arwenavery wrote: > > Ive been having soy products at each meal and im getting a little worried > > as there seems to be a lot of negative media around both its effects on the > > body and the environment...i try to buy organic tofu but i like the idea of > > tempeh with brown rice :) ill pick some up tomorrow > > > > > > >
