Guest guest
Hi Karen, Thanks for your update. It is nice to know how others cope with tiring and stressful days. My morning is just starting and I had, like Tina suggested, protein powder with my daily oatmeal breakfast. I feel satisfied and energetic, despite the fact that I am trying to keep up with deadlines myself and haven't been getting much sleep in the last few days. I hope you can get enough rest today so you feel better. I have been full of positive energy lately, but I can't deny that there's a part of me that is waiting " for the other shoe to drop. " I am trying to keep up the good spirits! Congratulations on your pea pod and I hope everyone has a wonderful day, Julia , " K " <arwenavery wrote: > > Hi guys :-) > yesterday was a LONG day...so i ended it with a free yoga class and > an early night > This morning i woke up tired so ive allowed myself bigger meals and > snacks. Its a stressful day and a day 4 with deadlines but im allowing > myself to rest properly...and not (as i was planning) to go to the > gym to try and cycle.Im considering going onto organic chicken (as my > vegetarianism is linked to animal welfare) today for breakfast i had > 3 eggs and two tablespoons of flaxseeds followed by oats and > cinnamon...for snack i had a wholefoods vegan 11gms protein snack bar > and for lunch i had tofu with brown rice and brocoli and a cookie. > Later i will be having a trek bar for a snack and brown rice and > lentil dahl for a later lunch. Guest guest
Hi Karen, It is so wonderful to hear how well you are treating yourself and your body. I do eat some meat, but only organic/free-range meat. I feel OK with that since I have found that my body really does much much better with the denser proteins. Tina arwenavery Wed, 23 Apr 2008 12:28:21 +0000 update and thinking Hi guys :-) yesterday was a LONG day...so i ended it with a free yoga class and an early night This morning i woke up tired so ive allowed myself bigger meals and snacks. Its a stressful day and a day 4 with deadlines but im allowing myself to rest properly...and not (as i was planning) to go to the gym to try and cycle.Im considering going onto organic chicken (as my vegetarianism is linked to animal welfare) today for breakfast i had 3 eggs and two tablespoons of flaxseeds followed by oats and cinnamon...for snack i had a wholefoods vegan 11gms protein snack bar and for lunch i had tofu with brown rice and brocoli and a cookie.
