Guest guest
It was so much fun to find them...I was like a kid with new toys, LOL. No, not at Whole Foods. There's a great store in San Francisco called Rainbow Grocery that's a worker-owned cooperative. Their bulk section is really extensive and wonderful, they carry a lot of supplements & natural remedies, a great cheese area, lots of soy & seitan products, etc etc. The only meat & fish in the store is what's in some of the pet foods and the human supplements (e.g. fish oil). If you're ever in the SF bay area, it'd be worth a trip to this store. It's a paradise for us program folks, and the people-watching can't be topped! I saw Jess had little travel packets of almond butter when we were in Maine and I was sooo jealous.
