Guest guest
Hi all, I'm back from South Dakota and just wanted to thank everybody for their good wishes. It was hard but really good. I also had an easier time with food than I expected. For starters, my family was really supportive and we rented out a hotel suite with a kitchen just so I could be comfortable. And one day when I was at the nursing home over lunch, I got the kitchen their to heat up my rice and beans that I'd made the night before. I have food allergies which I inherited from my grandma and as the nurse was taking it, she said, " Well, you know where they come from then, don't you? " We laughed. Grandma that night was having rice too while everyone else got pasta. I am also happy to be back in my normal life with all my sundry blenders and bottles and stores around me. Guest guest
That's a neat story about the allergies Jess. I'm glad you're back with your sundries. And I'm glad that things went well, despite it being a tough situation. Tina londonoctober Mon, 9 Jun 2008 19:49:59 +0000 Thanks everybody!
