cooked lentils

Just wanted to share my excitemnet over cooking some lentils yesterday.

i bought these uncokked lentils from the store but then wasn't quite sure what

to do with

them.

I got a good, quick way to do it from Mel over on the radiant forum.

I fired some onion in oil and put in the lentils covered in water.

i cooked them like this over medium heat for about 45 mins.

it worked great.

and afterwards my kitchen kind of smelled like thanksgiving dinner.

Hard to describe really, but it just brought me back to that memory.
