Hi all-

i went to a little farmer's market today in my new neighborhood of Brunswick,

ME.

anyhoo I found some great tomatoes and was thinking i needed another vegetable

for

lunch.

there was a bag of green-looking product that I approached cautiously.

The woman running the booth explained that it was chard and tasted very good but

not

like spinach.

I was intrigued.

I had some for lunch with some tomato and cucumber and really liked it.

It tasted very hearty.

And not like spinach.

not that there's anyhting wrong with spinach.
