Guest guest
I am a veg. and just really starting to focus on step 5. I do eat fish. Last night I have black bean soup and a sweet potato and some brocolli. I was soo soo full that I wasn't even hungry at breakfast. I did eat a tuna sand. on spelt bread for breakfast. I seem to either eat too much or not enough. I do not want to eat meat but I get bloated from beans. I eat a lot of soy stuff. Premade vegie burgers. But I know they aren't great to eat all of the time. Well, just wanted to touch base and connect with you guys. Laurie
Guest guest
Hi Laurie! It's really a balancing act isn't it? I have the same problem in too much or too little. For me, I don't think it is the amount of food but the types that fill me up more so I have to pay attention and make notes about it for the future. I eat fish as well and am about to jump into step 6 on January 1! Welcome! JJ " Your food shall be your remedy. Let food be your medicine and let medicine be your food. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, welcome! Are you on the step 5 list? It's a pretty cool place! Glad you still had breakfast even though you were full. I wonder if all that beans in the soup made you bloated and that's why you didn't feel hungry at breakfast? I have troubles with beans, I want to start baby-stepping my way into eating them and have a little each day and gradually increase to see if I can get my body used to all that fiber. I'll have to rely on other protein sources in those meals, of course, so I am thinking long term. Heather There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Maybe make it part of my protein or my brown but not all of the protein. I think that will work much better for me. Now I just have to figure the spices out to make it taste yummy. Anyone out there have a problem with cheese? I way over ate on it last night. I was trying to figure out why. Maybe my breakfast was light, maybe dinner was a little late. Maybe both of those reasons. Laurie > There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I'd guess it'd be both of those reasons, and at some points I have overdone cheese too. I got a BE hit from the fat. Nothing wrong with cheese - but I have to take care of my BEs in other ways, eat enough food, and get plenty of healthy fat in! Guest guest
Laurie, I find I will eat more fatty salty food when I'm not eating enough overall, so perhaps you are onto something with the light breakfast Heather There are two ways to live your life.
