Hello! I'm a new person and ready to get started... Just bought

Potatoes Not Prozac and have been checking out the Radiant Recovery

website. I was relieved to find this Veggie group!

Hi Jennie, welcome! So glad you are here. Have you started breakfast yet?

Heather,

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I almost always have breakfast...usually

either a green smoothie (greens have protein too!), some fresh squeezed

juice, and today I actually had steamed broccoli! I am a vegetarian except

for the occasional piece of fish, so I have no problems with veggies in my

diet. I just want to cut down on pasta, bread, and alcohol. I think that

is how I " crave " sugar. Not straight up sugar, sometimes I will eat dark

chocolate, but tend not to go for desserts.

I was reading about maybe doing grains, beans, or tofu for breakfast some

days...

Hi Jennie, oh great you are already used to eating in the morning! Many of us

come here without the habit of eating breakfast at all :). Did you get to the

part in the book where Kathleen gives the equation on how to figure out the best

amount of protein to eat for healing?

Welcome, Jennie!

I love your email address -- almost as much as I love tahini, LOL!! I

could eat it every day, and I've tasted enough brands to have my

favorites. I had some in my oatmeal this very morning.

cheers, Cinzia
