How much dry beans(I will be soaking and sprouting them) are needed for 28 gms of proteins? Also how much cottage cheese for 28gms of proteins? Guest guest Posted March 8, 2009 Report Share Posted March 8, 2009 Hi Kiran, according to the protein list in the files section 1 cup of cottage cheese is 31 grams of protein. It might differ a gram or two depending on the brand or the fat content, but that's a good starting point. About the beans, it really depends on what time you are having. Also the sprouting may increase the protein levels some, but I found conflicting information on the web about just how much. My suggestion is to assume they have the same amount as non-spouted to start with but just keep track in our journal of how well it works for you. Have you looked at the protein list on the site yet?
