Hi there,

 

No, we don't normally count the protein in milk as part of our meal's protein

requirement.

 

People generally find that proteins we could hold in our hand -- tofu, cottage

cheese, seitan (wheat gluten), and even protein powders -- hold us better until

our next meal or snack.

 

If I need to add a few grams of protein to my meal, I might add some nuts or nut

butter.
