ok, that sounds LESS than appetizing! But I wanted to share a quick meal I made

last night that turned out well.

2 cans garbanzo beans/ chick peas

1 container of tofu

1 cup peas

1 cup carrots

1 onion

1 tablespoon garlic-ginger paste

1 small can of tomato paste

spices randomly sprinkled in: a few whole cloves, tumeric, cumin, chili powder,

pepper, cinnamon. I ran out of cardamom or would have used it.

Saute onions in olive oil and butter (I ran out of ghee, too) and then add

everything and cook together until all is soft and fragrant.

Brown rice mixed with wild rice cooked in my rice cooker.

This " held " me really well, so even though it is kind of a haphazard recipe, I

thought I'd share it if anyone needs a dish with plenty of protein. I think you

could also add cashews to this.
