I am glad that I can join!

My name is Nina, I am 24 years old and I am from Berlin, Germany. I found the

recovery-book when i visited California and Hawai'i in winter.

I was totally excited about the truth it revealed to me.

Since then I tried with more and less commitment to follow the steps. My last

breakdown after 4 days of uncontrolled sugar last week showed me, that I have to

go back and really do the program more serious.

Unfortunately the idea of sugar-addiction is not very wide spread in Berlin, and

I get few understanding and no support.

I am on step 5 now, and I really want to get steady, still I am struggling on

the planning. I somehow don't like it and I am very spontaneous in my decision

of what I would like to eat.

I am vegetarian since some years and I like it!

I am looking forward to meet you and share experience, recipes and fun!

Hi Nina, welcome! So glad you found the book. Were you able to find a copy in

German or English? About people in Germany not understanding the program, you

might want to join the Radiant Europe list to find some additional support for

that: http://health.radianteuro/join

Glad you found us! I find it so comforting to have a place to talk about

Vegetarian needs :)

Welcome, Nina! It is great to have you here. I totally understand what

you mean when you feel as though you are perhaps resisting the idea of

being on a schedule to eat meals, and prefer to be more spontaneous. I

struggled with this until I imagined I had a little child with me who

needed to eat regularly. Would I make her wait? Never! So I treat

myself kindly. Like everyone says, just take it one little step at a

time.
