Guest guest
Think I may need a new nutritionist as mine just told me that beans were not a viable source of protein?? And to eat smoked salmon for variety...but when I checked the label I found that it's made with sugar...(who knew)...?? Any opinions...comments or advice?? Many thanks...Holly
Guest guest
Hi Holly, well I find beans work fine for me, but not for every meal. What seems to work even better is to have multiple protein sources at a meal, so beans with cheese or eggs, for example. Also, not all smoked salmon has sugar in it Heather There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Guest guest
Get a new nutritionist : ) If you have beans with rice it makes a complete protein. I liked reading " Becoming Vegan " because it has some really great information about nutrition for vegans, without being preachy. Guest guest
Yes I often have a sprinkling of cheese over the veggies that I have with my rice & lentils. Or last night I had half my usual portion of lentils & a piece of salmon for protein. Lovely combination if you eat fish. Sprouted lentils are yum!
