Guest guest
Hi! My name is Tatjana. I live in Vienna/Austria, am 32, married and have 3 cats. Because of depressive episodes I take efexor, which helps but I'm starting to get really fed up with the side effects (high blood pressure, almost no sexual drive). I've already done the steps 4 years ago. I was sugar free for 1 year but then fell off the wagon. I rapidly gained about 60 pounds after that. At the moment I weigh 246.5 pounds. Half a year ago I stopped eating meat and fish and I don't intend to start again. I will post this same introduction at the breakfast group so everybody who is over there too, will have a bit of a déjà vu ) I'm very thankful, that this group exists, because I will need lots of help finding vegetarian choices with enough protein for my lunch and dinner later on. For breakfast I'm quite satisfied with a soy-yogurt based shake. I add frozen berries and protein powder. At the moment I don't have a complex brown with it, but I'm going to use a whole-grain rye-bread. So much for my introduction, Best wishes from Austria, yours, Tatjana
Guest guest
Hi Tatjana, Welcome to the list. A protein shake is a great way to get required protein in the morning, esp if you are veggie! Are you getting enough protein in the shake to start? My favorite breakfast browns are oatmeal, my homemade granola, and lately I've been having brown rice cereal. Glad you're here! Guest guest
hi Tatjana It's lovely to see you here. I'm glad you have your protein source for breakfast settled. As you say lunch & dinner can come later. I almost always have oats for my breakfast brown, with nuts & Seeds mixed in, but mainly oats.
