Guest guest
Deb here, I'm back to RR after realizing how much sugar I was getting into! I recently went on a meditation retreat that served nothing but vegan food, except for 1/2 n 1/2 for coffee. Soy patties at every breakfast - ha ha. Lots of grains (a dark quinoa - delicious!) and of course beans and nuts. I went cold turkey off my usual 1-2 glasses of wine per night and lost weight that week. THis was late August, and I have continued the no alcohol which is great. ANyway, I am writing to say I am excited to be in touch with all of you on this journey. I bought some tempeh yesterday and intend to make tempeh reubens! So delicious you'd never know your consuming that weird looking stuff. Use ingredients according to your protein requirements 2 slices rye 1-2 slices swiss cheese russian dressing made from mayo(I use grapeseed oil mayo, too delicious) and ketchup - find a sugar free one thinly sliced tempeh sauerkraut I saute the tempeh, melt the cheese on it, heat the kraut slightly. SOmetimes I grill the entire sandwhich, somtimes I just toast the bread. YUM! I hope you enjoy it Deb

This morning I had a protein shake and a bowl of rice cereal. Guest guest
hi Deb It's great that you are back. I recently discovered a quinoa that was black - delicious! Your sandwich sounds divine. Mel , " cellodeb " <cellodeb wrote: > > Deb here, > > I'm back to RR after realizing how much sugar I was getting into! Guest guest
Hi Tina, To answer your question of what I do for breakfast: today I am having spelt flakes, like rolled oats only spelt from Vitamin Cottage - with rice dream on it and a few Whole foods breakfast sausage patties (soy) I've tried a lot of veggie sausages and I really like these - in the frozen section - really good with ketchup or hot sauce! How about you? have a great day all! Deb > Hi Deb, > > Welcome back, it's great you are here! That recipe looks delicious. What are > you doing for breakfast these days?
