Guest guest
Hi all, Although I am still one step one I have started reading labels for sugars instead of the usual non-veg ingredients. I have discovered that some of my favorite products marketed to vegetarians and health minded people has sugar in them. Harumph! Why, oh why do my Quorn nuggets have dextrose in them? Dextrose is also pretty far down the list meaning there is not that much in it. Any body interested in a letter writing campaign to our favorite food manufactures to tell them to take the sugars out of non desert foods? We can all all turns picking a product since ultimately this will benefit all of us and many more. Cheers, Adrianna
Guest guest
I agree, it is very frustrating to find sugar in products that have no need for it! HFC in Ragu sauce for instance! no wonder they market it to kids in the parenting magazines like its so healthy.......bleh! I am with you on the letter writing, I am going to check the label right now for our favorite morningstar farm grillers.
