Guest guest
HI Laurie, I do! It was so hard I love cheese but I do sometimes have goat cheese as I'm vegan for ethical reasons hand milked goats doesn't seem too horrific to me. also there are some really nice tofu cheeses out there depending where your from. But everything else is easy soy yogurt is yum! almond milk is perfect for breakfast. I guess it all comes down to what you believe in. Guest guest
Hey Danella, I tried soy yogurt once and didn't like it. I will try it again. I had " follow your heart " vegan gourmet " cheese " . It was pretty good. So where do you get your calories? I had more than half a jar of peanutbutter yesterday, not something I want to repeat. I am gluten free too so I can't eat seitan anymore. Eating temphe, lentils, tofu. I do eat eggs. Have you found anything that is really dense and satisfying? I love cheese too. I also have eaten goat cheese. Sort of forgot about it. I am afraid I will overeat it though. It is what I tend to do with cheese. I think it is BE raising for me. Guest guest
hi laurie Im dairy free because im lactose intolerant but i eat goats cheese. there is a BE hit off fat as well as sugar and i think a lot of people have experienced that. For me i try to add lots of different fats to my meals, like avocado, olive oil and some goats cheese irish Karen , " Laurie " <laurieseidman wrote: > > Does anyone do this vegetarian and dairy free? Guest guest
Oh Laurie, that is funny you say that, cheese does raise BE's but that's not necessarily a bad thing . You know, when I was early on in the program I found myself binging on foods with fat in them often (like nuts and cheese). It turns out I wasn't eating nearly enough and my body was reacting to that. Just a thought! Heather There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Guest guest
Laurie, it is hard to say at first. The journal really helps when you get to that part . I noticed eating more meant less craving fats. You could try upping your browns a bit and see what happens? Heather There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Guest guest
Hi Heather, I upped my browns yesterday. I also tried to choose other foods to eat at lunch time. I had veggies and protein and browns. And some cheese. When I felt like having fat later at dinner I had the browns instead. I have written in my journal that " I want cheese " . Even at breakfast. Anyway, I think upping my browns it a good idea. Thanks, Laurie , Heather Butler <hawaiihmb wrote: > > Laurie, it is hard to say at first. The journal really helps when you get to that part . Guest guest
Oh I love all those things! I make sure to have some fat in each of my meals, too. Really helps the meals last, and I find without fats I get cranky. Heather There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. Guest guest
Hi Heather, I am on step three. However it is kinda my 2nd time around. I have browned already (realized I am gluten intolerant recently) and I had basically given up sugar before I found the program. I still eat a lot of fruit though. I try to eat it with protein. Guest guest
Hi Laurie, I think i get a lot of my protein from seitan, I also like the linda mc cartney 1/4 pounder burger as it has 25g of protein so I don't even have a whole one then i just add brown and veg. but you can buy veg protein powder and make lentil and brown rice " cakes " or " burgers " and add the powder into it to bulk it up. Calories however maybe nuts and seeds Danella '\ , " Laurie " <laurieseidman wrote: > > Hey Danella, I tried soy yogurt once and didn't like it. I will try it again. Guest guest
Gosh Danella You have less than a whole burger? A burger is like a unit to me. Are you restricting your foods?
